LoveLevenshulme Photography Competition WINNERS!

Phew, well, I wasn't kidding when I said I was busy and I have to admit that, despite the tireless and speedy judging work of the guys at Levenshulme Daily Photo, this post is a little overdue. So, without further ado, I am please to announce the winners of this year's LoveLevenshulme Levenshulme Festival Photography Competition!

Adults:
WINNER - Tom Mills
Tom's image was taken on a summer evening as he was fishing on the lake at the end of Sandfold Lane behind the rubbish dump. The image itself is stunning and it's a fantastic reminder that there are plenty of hidden gems in Levy - I didn't even know about this one.

As there were loads of really high quality entries this year the judges also saw fit to name some runners up, as follows:

2nd - Hena Begum

3rd - Daniel Smith

4th - Farand Henry

Teens:
WINNER - Aaron O'Connor
Aaron's great use of light really captures the beautiful stained glass in St Mary's (I think it's St Mary's, truth be told I'm not great on my churches so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).

Thanks again for all of our entrants. Unfortunately this year we had no kids entries which is a real shame since we had absolutely LOADS in the other categories - way more than last year. Although I am stepping down from the site I'm a passionate photographer and I really want to encourage the competition to continue so watch this space for next year...
