Levenshulme Inspire - Up and Running. And Meditating.

Levenshulme Inspire had it's grand opening this weekend, to much fanfare and with Sir Richard Leese cutting the ribbon. They're off to a great start with bookings coming in for the many rentable community spaces in the converted church. Inspire are really keen to engage with the community and welcome ideas for events - more details of the spaces available are here.

Starting weekly from tomorrow the Social Media space will play host to introductory meditation classes. The classes are open to all and run from 7.30pm. The classes are free although donations are welcome. Phone 07809 612 684 for more details or look out for the posters in Tesco or around Levenshulme.

Thursday 11th November will see the first Levenshulme Film Club night, with a showing of 24 Hour Party People. Tickets are £3.50 and can be booked by calling the Film Club on 07313 461 222 for more details. The showing starts at 7.30pm.

Thanks to everybody who came along and supported such a great start in the new building.
In terms of activities, don't forget too the Inspire Church - meeting every Sunday at 10am - between now and Christmas looking at classic Bible stories. This week: David & Goliath.
